Official SAT or ACT scores, including at least one official writing score. High school results. More than 75% of admitted 2014 freshmen scored an 1150 or higher on the SAT (critical reading and math sections combined) or a 25 or higher on the ACT composite. Seventy-five percent of admitted 2014 freshmen earned a weighted core GPA of at least a 3.64. Students obtaining the B.A. in Political Science receive broad exposure to the discipline, selecting courses from fields such as American politics, comparative politics, international relations, public administration and policy, and political theory, while also developing one or two individualized areas of interest.
