2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics or a cognate area, professional qualifications or significant and relevant work experience; IELTS 6.0 (with at least 5.0 in all bands); or TOEFL with a score of 550 in the paper-based test or 213 in the computer-based test with 4.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE), for those whose 1st language is not English.

The course provides a thorough grounding in the theory and analytical techniques required by finance professionals operating in today’s business environment; it offers students a global perspective on the process of financial decision-making and practical knowledge of the workings of financial markets and the price-setting process; course modules include: financial reporting; corporate finance; quantitative methods in finance; international finance; security and portfolio analysis 1 and 2; financial statement analysis; dissertation; options from: issues in corporate finance 1 and 2; market micro-structure issues; accounting and security market behaviour.
