Full-time: Autumn semester: research study skills; research philosophy and design; introduction to quantitative research; research design project; spring semester: advanced quantitative research; qualitative research; research of enterprise; option module or modules in the area of the student's chosen research topic; from June to September, students work on their dissertation; part-time programme offers the same core and elective modules but the taught element is normally spread over 4 semesters and students are allowed 6 months to complete the dissertation.

Расположение

Университету принадлежит кампус площадью 125,5 гектар (310 акров), на территории которого находится озеро и замок XVIII века. Дорога от кампуса до Эдинбурга и Глазго занимает меньше часа.
Исторически значимый и оживленный город Стирлинг находится всего в десяти минутах езды на автобусе от кампуса.
