Вступительные требования

A degree in engineering (Honours degree for MSc applicants); or in the numerate areas of science; or an equivalent qualification; or appropriate professional experience; relevant industrial experience may also be considered; candidates whose 1st language is not English and who have not obtained their qualifications in an English-speaking institution must achieve the following English language standards: TOEFL 100 (internet-based); 250 (computer based); 600 (written); or IELT S 6.5.

Graduates gain an extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of control engineering, enhanced and supported with business management skills; this enables students to capitalise on employment opportunities within a diverse range of industries: seismic signal processing; aerospace; chemical and petrochemical; mining; manufacturing and computer industries; automotive and marine; defence; IT user companies (service and industrial sectors); and power and renewable energy. Modules Semester 1 (compulsory classes): Fundamental Control Technology; computer technology and modern programming concepts; instrumentation and condition monitoring; regulation in network industries; control assignment; semester 2 (compulsory classes): Case study assignment; computer control system methods; simulation and design software for digital signal processing and control; control of industrial processes; technology and market interaction; semester 3 (June – September) Master's candidates conduct a project in their chosen specialisation; arrangements can be made for the project to be carried out at a participating university in another EU country, or at a participating industrial establishment.

Расположение
