Students may exit the course with a postgraduate cetificate after completing 4 appropriate modules; the postgraduste diploma can be followed by either a taught Master's of 2 double modules (if working with an employer prepared to support this model) or a Master's by dissertation; core modules (15 SM points each): professional practice 1; professional practice 2; reflective professional enquiry 1; reflective professional enquiry 2; career-related information and learning; labour market studies; policy and organisation; career guidance theory.

First degree or qualification equivalent to degree from UK university (or, exceptionally, substantial relevant experience with evidence of ability to study at this level); selection is by essay, interview, presentation and reference.
