Students outside of Ontario should have the equivalent senior high school credits.Students who are interested in enrolling in a philosophy program are advised to take PHL 100Y1 - Introduction to Philosophy

What distinguishes philosophy from the physical and social sciences is its concern not only with the truths that are discovered by means of specialized methods of investigation, but with the implications such discoveries have for human beings in their relations with one another and the world. For a few, philosophy will be preparation for graduate study and teaching, and many organizations and businesses hire philosophy students because of their training in critical analysis and argumentation.
