Вступительные требования

BSc (Hons) biomedical science or a BSc (Hons) science degree or equivalent with a pass mark of 50% or more or equivalent; or an equivalent standard (i.e. 50% or more) in a postgraduate certificate, graduate diploma, graduate certificate in biomedical sciences or an approved professional or other qualification; or applicants holding a 3rd class BSc (Hons) degree in biomedical sciences (IBMS accredited) may be admitted to the postgraduate diploma course with the option to transfer to the Master's if successful in all the taught module; part-time students should normally be employed as a biomedical scientist, trainee biomedical scientist or, equivalent in a hospital or research laboratory or have access to similar laboratory facilities.

This programme aims to provide an advanced education and training in biomedical sciences and allows specialisation in a specific area of biomedical science such as haematology, medical microbiology, cellular pathology, clinical chemistry or transfusion science; in addition the programme allows the planning and undertaking of original research into a specific biomedical problem.
