Year 2: Financial management 1 (10 credits); human resource management (20 credits); marketing (20 credits); research methods (10 credits); plus up to 20 further credits from either subject. Year 3: Strategic management (20 credits0; personal management skills (10 credits) plus 30 credits taken from the year 2 management modules, of which up to 20 credits may be taken outside the Department. Islamic studies Year 1: Study of religions (10 credits); plus 30 credits from the following 10-credit modules: life of Muhammad; the rise of Islam; Islamic doctrine; introduction to Qur’an and Hadith; plus general compulsory modules: study skills (10 credits); and information technology skills (10 credits); plus 20 further credits from a range of options. Year 2: 40 credits from Islamic studies modules; plus a further 40 credits from optional modules. Year 3: 20 credits from Islamic studies modules; plus 20 credits from Classics modules; plus 40 credits from Theology modules.
