This degree course capitalizes on particular strengths within the philosophy department in the areas of philosophy of mind; epistemology and metaphysics; it has been put together with students in mind who are interested in a thorough grounding in these core philosophical areas (and their history) but it also reflects the fact that work in these areas is increasingly informed by a dialogue with work in psychology on the development of and mechanisms underlying (e.g. visual perception; conceptual thought; language and action).

Расположение

Кампус университета расположился на 290 гектарах территории с великолепными озерами, лесами и очаровательными садами.

Университет Уорик находится примерно в 5 километрах от центра города Ковентри, в котором каждый год проходит фестиваль в честь леди Годивы – крупнейший семейный музыкальный фестиваль в Великобритании. Также город богат удостоенными многих наград достопримечательностями – музей и галерею искусств Герберта (Herbert Art Gallery) и музей транспорта города Ковентри.

От кампуса легко добраться до городка Ройал-Лемингтон-Спа, поэтому именно там живет множество студентов Университета. Также второй важнейший город Великобритании – Бирмингем – находятся в 20 минутах езды на поезде, а Лондон – в часе езды. Также Университет находится недалеко от таких исторических центов, как Кенилворт, Уорик и Страдфорд-на-Эйвоне, который является малой родиной Шекспира.
