4 core modules: Strategic marketing management; relationship marketing in the digital age; marketing ethics in a consumer society; advanced buyer behaviour; 3 electives ( 2 from): services marketing; E-marketing; branding and strategic advertising; the 3rd from: global marketing; marketing to BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China); intercultural communication for marketing, business and management; managing organisational transformation; managing global talent; project management; management enquiry and research methods; dissertation: it involves conducting both primary and secondary research in the chosen topic / discipline area and presenting the research and its findings in the form of a 15,000 word dissertation.

Вступительные требования

2:2 Honours degree or overseas equivalent in business / management or social science discipline; diploma from the chartered Institute of Marketing; applicants with a post graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing will be exempt from the core module - Strategic Marketing Management; applicants with non-relevant degrees (e.g. modern languages / music) or no formal qualifications that are assessed as suitable will be required to complete 1 module in marketing and one in research methods before progressing to the masters; IELTS 6.5 Or TOEFL 600 (230 computer based) (91 internet based test).

The course offers a unique opportunity to establish a solid knowledge base of the essentials of marketing; the student then has the opportunity to select from a rich diet of electives to aim for some degree of specialism; it also offers a combination of the essential elements of current day marketing with the upcoming requirements for future marketing; as students study strategic marketing management they learn the importance of marketing ethics to organisational reputation and profits; students also are able to study non-marketing electives that strengthen their general management skills like managing change or projects.

Расположение

Студенческий городок Университета Западного Лондона расположен в одном из самых престижных для проживания районов Лондона. В обоих городах оживленная и многонациональная атмосфера сочетаются с просторными парками и тихими кафе. Это безопасный, живописный, многонациональный район Лондона, расположенный в самом центре городской агломерации, недалеко от аэропорта Хитроу.

Беркширский Институт Здравоохранения (the Berkshire Institute for Health) в Рединге расположен на расстоянии пешей доступности от центрального вокзала и автобусных остановок, недалеко от парковок и городских перехватывающих автостоянок. Многие приезжают издалека, чтобы насладиться походом за покупками и ночной жизнью в Рединге. В городе, помимо нашего вуза, располагается Университет Рединга, поэтому многие развлечения ориентированы на студентов. Вы также сможете добраться до вокзала Паддингтон менее, чем за полчаса.
