Good 1st degree in architecture or a related discipline (with qualifications in subject areas contingent to or cognate with the course); applicants will be considered on merit; but expected to show a committed interest in architectural design; attend an interview and bring a portfolio (may be digital for overseas applicants) of work demonstrating prior experience and interests; and evidence English language proficiency: IELTS 6.5.

In the context of a digital design culture (including digital prototyping animation; parametric design and interactive: responsive environments) the implications of digital media technology in architecture are considered in terms of their impact on architectural theory and design; and by addressing a range of different technologies and techniques; the course seeks to provide a critical perspective through which the value and appropriateness of these technologies can be assessed (using project based work primarily).
