The programme consists of 4 compulsory modules, 2 optional modules and independent study modules that lead to the completion of the dissertation; stand-alone modules are available and they are designed to provide refreshers or fill a knowledge gap for those who do not wish to gain an academic qualification; modules include: managing people in a contemporary health and social care environment; managing planning, priority setting and finance; managing information and service development; research methods; optional modules including: clinical measurement, the health of nation(s): the politics economy of health, strategic development, social care, leadership in a changing environment, professional study.
