This course equips students with current technical knowledge while emphasising the need to understand movement, primarily through drawing; computer animation is taught alongside traditional approaches, and the skills developed include editing, creative use of sound, compositing and ideas generation; analysis of contextual work develops students critical awareness of the subject and encourages creative individuality; students learn through methods including studio and workshop teaching, seminar discussions and presentations.
