This course allows students to engage with the key ideas and concepts within contemporary photographic practice; students explore photography as a medium of communication in a number of professional settings; practical work introduces students to cameras of all formats both in the studio and on location; there are regular visits to exhibitions as well as field trips and lectures from visiting professional photographers.
