The Vanderbilt Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree is a one-year, on-campus degree offering two distinct programs: MAcc Assurance and MAcc Valuation. MAcc Assurance prepares you to be successful as an audit and assurance associate within a global accounting firm. You might be wondering, “Is a masters in accounting worth it?” Our accounting degree curriculum teaches you the technical skills top firms require and helps you develop professional skills that set you apart. Our small-by-design accounting program features a paid internship and CPA exam prep embedded in the 12 months, so you’ll start to see a return on your investment immediately. The Vanderbilt campus is located approximately 2.4 km southwest of downtown in the West End neighbourhood of midtown Nashville. It has an area of 1.3 km2, though this figure includes large tracts of sparsely used land in the southwest part of the main campus, as well as the Medical Centre. The historical core of campus encompasses approximately 0.3 km2.
