Вступительные требования

Bioinformatics seeks solutions to biological problems through systematic analysis of large sets of bio-data. Students who want to enrol the Msc program Bioinformatics therefore must have at least a Bsc degree of equivalent in, bioinformatics, molecular biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field in life sciences. Additionally, they need skills in mathematics/statistics and computer skills. In some cases enrolment is also possible with a BSc degree in informatics, statistics mathematics or related study. Диплом бакалавра (Bachelor’s degree), 4 years; Диплом специалиста (Diploma of Specialist), 5 years. 5 point scale 4.0/5 (Хорошо, Good) International students (non-native speakers of English) require a minimum TOEFL 550 level in English (paper-based version).

Расположение

Wageningen Campus is centrally located in the Netherlands with excellent road connections with Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Hague (just over an hour from Amsterdam and Schiphol), Utrecht (40 minutes), Arnhem (20 minutes) and Nijmegen (just over half an hour). Besides Schiphol, the campus is also within one hour from the international airports of Eindhoven and Düsseldorf Weeze.


The town of Wageningen, where the university is based, is a historic town on the banks of the Rhine. Each year in May the town holds a festival which draws in thousands of visitors, celebrating the town’s significance as the site of the liberation of the Netherlands at the end of the Second World War.
