This course combines the scientific, technical and commercial aspects of horse management with the development of practical equestrian skills and business awareness; the programme is offered on a modular basis allowing flexibility and choice in the subjects studied; students study a broad range of subjects in year 1, and can then choose to follow a named pathway of business management modules; these modules are enhanced by the College's contacts within the equine industry, with visits to, and speakers from, external equine enterprises making an important contribution to student learning; international exchanges are currently available with universities in the USA, Canada, Holland and Finland as part of this course.
