YEAR ONE ENTRY
We welcome applications from high-quality candidates in all subjects with appropriate high school or equivalent qualifications. Students will normally be expected to have a high standing in their high school performance with a minimum B average in all subjects as well as relevant subjects.
YEAR TWO ENTRY
Students who have completed A-levels or International Baccalaureate (or equivalent) will be considered for entry into Year Two, different programmes have different subject-relevant requirements.
A-level: BBB
IB Diploma: 30 points
Advanced Placement Tests/Subject SATS--High school diploma with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above, plus:
3 SAT II Subject Test 600+ or
3 AP exams 4+ or
Either SAT I Test at 1280+ or ACT Composite Score at 27, and 2 AP exams 4+ or 2 SAT II Subject Test 600+
For international applicants, if you are a non-native English speaker, or if you have not previously studied in English, you must have satisfactory English language skills to study at XJTLU. Various English qualifications are accepted:

Following XJTLU’s exciting and innovative Syntegrative Educational Model, this programme is an equal collaboration between the University and its industry partner, Siasun, at the School of Robotics in XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang).
Without intelligent robotic systems, things that are taken for granted from household applications to medical services, from modern electrical power systems to space exploration, would be now virtually impossible.
The BEng Intelligent Robotics Engineering is a new cutting-edge programme designed to meet the fast-growing demands in our society for these intelligent robotics systems. You will learn and apply knowledge and technologies in new areas and advancements in science and technology such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as those related to more traditional areas such as mechanical engineering; electrical and electronics engineering; control engineering and scientific computing.
In addition, you will benefit from XJTLU's collaboration with industry partners in the field of robotics, and study in an integrated, industry-focused environment with close links between teaching, learning and real engineering applications.
Not only that, graduates from this unique programme will meet the needs of a wide range of employers, as the educational model’s unique focus on entrepreneurship and innovation provides you with the skills and abilities to think like an entrepreneur, providing the foundation for you to go on to become one of the leaders for tomorrow’s new industries.
