Core (2): introduction to practitioner enquiry and planning a practitioner research project; optional: leadership and management, managing change, special educational needs, leading learning, learning and teaching, the early years setting, the global dimension and education, global citizenship, mentoring for professional learning, educational consultancy, change and development; students are also required to undertake an independent study module.

Degree from an approved university or institution or an equivalent qualification; a graduate diploma in educational studies or appropriate accreditation of prior learning (APL/ APEL) qualifications/experience; students applying to this programme should have access to a workplace in which practitioner enquiry can take place.
