Paris Campus

The Marangoni Paris campus is just a few minutes from the Place de l'Opera, in a 7-storey building where you can breathe the air of the most important Parisian fashion houses Chanel, Hermes, Lanvin...Here there are of fashion and design theory alongside workshops and photographic studios, for a course that starts from the history of haute couture and goes on to contemporary fashion. Every day in the classroom, students are confronted by established professionals, from the main houses, to develop their skills in all areas of the fashion system.

London Campus

London Campus is located in the coolest artistically and creatively area of London, Shoreditch. It is the correct place to look to the future, doing so through visual stimuli and culture. From here come the newest styles, new trends in fashion as in design. Attending the London campus of the Istituto Marangoni means one can get in touch with a changing world, accompanied by a teaching staff that is motivated and ready to transfer skills and know-how.

Two Campuses in Milan - the school of fashion and the school of design

Istituto Marangoni was born here. Here the great names of Italian prêt-â-porter were trained. We are in the city center, a few steps from the path of fashion excellence, via Montenapoleone. Milan is the city of fashion par excellence; here new ideas and styles are continually developed. And Istituto Marangoni students find the tools to interpret and guide and grow through study programs which are constantly updated to become highly skilled professionals in the fashion industry at the highest creative, organizational and business levels.

London: It is true that London is a place of grand attractions, but one must also find suitable accommodation. For this reason, school's offices support their students looking for accommodation in London through recommendations for the best residences, boarding houses and apartments that are available and well-connected to the campus. In addition, we link up students interested in sharing their accommodation with other students.

Milano: Istituto Marangoni Milano has created a free housing and accommodation service to assist international students in their housing search in Milano. To do so, we have worked with top agencies in the city, in order to help students identify safe and secure properties according to their preferences, be them in the city centre and close to the fashion and design school or other strategically convenient places. From the very first day in Milano, Istituto Marangoni provides a convenient welcome pack for students to easily adapt to their new temporary home. This includes an airport pick-up serviceto the chosen accommodation, a local pre-charged SIM card and all the documents necessary to settle in the city.

Istituto Marangoni is the international fashion school par excellence, with five campuses in the most prestigious venues of international fashion. In Milan, the capital of Made in Italy, in Paris, the home of haute couture, in London, where trends are born and Shanghai, where fashion is the future, Istituto Marangoni is able to offer different visions of the contemporary fashion system to its students. The 4 sites of Istituto Marangoni are truly one of the most international student contexts in the world, with more than 2,500 students from 92 countries, each with infinite interests, styles, and knowledge. Attending this school is equivalent to a life experience while being immersed in the passion for fashion, learning and being enriched by coming into contact with the most varied and interesting cultural realities. There are about 2,200 students of 70 nationalities in the five campuses (London, Paris, Shanghai and two campuses in Milan).

The school was founded in Milan in 1935 by the tailor Giulio Marangoni,who was already famous among italian aristocracy of the time. The institution became a Scuola Professionale Artistica or "professional art school" in 1942. A London campus opened in Fashion Street, Shoreditch, in 2003. A Paris campus on avenue Raymond Poincare opened in October 2006, and a Shanghai campus in 2012.

The centre of design

The new school of design is located in via Cerva, in the heart of the city, in one of the areas full of the most important national and international design brands.This space is completely new and will be dedicated to fostering environments that are the most strategic to the subject: from internal and industrial design studios to visual design.Here students will find the stimuli and skills to grow and become designers of excellence, who are capable of operating in a vast array of professional environments.
