The ANU College Foundation Studies has been designed to provide students with the appropriate academic preparation for their intended ANU degree program. Upon completion (current success rate of 98%), and subject to meeting ANU entry requirements, acceptance into the student’s chosen undergraduate degree program is guaranteed.
The three term Rapid program is better suited to students who are confident in completing the foundation program requirements in a shorter time frame. This program provides students with the opportunity to add an additional elective to their studies and complete the program over three terms. It is advisable that students selecting this program are confident English speakers, able to excel under pressure with diverse assessment tasks such as critical analysis and oral presentations.

Students undertake the following:
- complete a total of 18 courses over three terms (6 per term)
- 9 compulsory courses are selected from the English (core skills and applied), plus Mathematics
OR Research skills areas - 9 discipline electives (science, engineering and computer science; business and economics; arts, law and social sciences)
Subjects: 6 subjects completed each term - 18 in total.

Расположение
Основной кампус АНУ расположен в Актоне на северном берегу озера Бёрли-Гриффин к западу от центра города. Однако у нас есть и другие отделения в АСТ, Новом Южном Уэльсе и Северной Территории, которые оборудованы всем необходимым для успешного обучения и исследовательской деятельности.
Для прибывающих на самолете:
Время в пути от аэропорта до университета на машине не превышает 15 минут. В течение дня действует автобусное сообщение между аэропортом и городом. Вызов такси доступен в любое время суток.
Для прибывающих на поезде или автобусе:
Канберра имеет прямое железнодорожное сообщение с Сиднеем, и смешанное железнодорожное и автобусное с Мельбурном. Междугородние автобусы пребывают в центр города, откуда до университета легко добраться на такси.
