Jonkoping University

Students who are citizens of countries outside the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to pay application and tuition fees.
The following fees apply for the academic year 2015/2016. The amounts will vary depending on the school and programme. The tuition fee will be charged in advance for each semester (30 ECTS).

Jönköping International Business School

• Bachelor's programmes (3 year programmes): SEK 100,000 per academic year.
• Master's programmes (1 and 2 year programmes): SEK 120,000 per academic year.
• Summer Programme: 16 250 SEK per undergraduate course and 13 250 SEK per graduate course

School of Education and Communication

• Bachelor's programmes (3 year programmes): SEK 100,000 per acacemic year.
• Master's programmes: SEK 117,000 per academic year.

School of Engineering

• Bachelor's programmes (3 year programmes): SEK 125,000 per academic year.
• Master's Programmes (2 year programmes): SEK 135,000 per academic year.
• Higher Education Diploma (Eksjö Campus) (2 year programmes): 120,000 per academic year.

School of Health Sciences

• Master's programmes (1 year programmes): SEK 117,000 per academic year (web based).

The following example of a feasible monthly budget will give you some idea of the costs of living in Sweden.

• Accommodation: 2,400-4,000 SEK depending on location
• Food: 2,000 SEK
• Telephone: 300 SEK
• Monthly bus tickets: 480 SEK
• Laundry and hygiene: 250 SEK
• Clothing, hobbies, leisure: 750 SEK

Jönköping University offers scholarships on behalf of the Swedish government. The scholarships, intended for students who pay tuition fees, will cover a part of said tuition fee. The application for scholarships is open until 15 April 2016. The scholarships are a possibility for students to be financially supported during their period of study at Jönköping University.

The Swedish Institute, a government agency, administers over 500 scholarships each year for students and researchers coming to Sweden to pursue their objectives at a Swedish university.
