The full Master's programme is tiered into 3 levels, each comprised of 2 30-credit modules, which means students can spread the work over a long period of time or they can stop at any of the levels and gain an award for that level; the first 2 modules account for 60 credits leading to the postgraduate certificate of professional studies in education (CPSE); 2 more modules (120 credits) lead to a postgraduate diploma in professional studies in education (DPSE); the final double module (180 credits) is for the Master's degree.
