Вступительные требования

1st Class or Upper 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK institution (or its equivalent); interview; the degree should be in either behavioural medicine areas (nurses; physiotherapists; pharmacists; occupational therapists; doctors); or in the social sciences (psychology; anthropology; or sociology); lower 2nd Class Honours degree or non-standard qualifications are considered; all applicants whose 1st language is not English: at least 6.5 overall in the IELTS with no less than 6 in any component or an equivalent English language qualification.

The course is designed for students who do not wish to become UK chartered health psychologists and so is particularly attractive to international students and health professionals (physiotherapists; occupational therapists; pharmacists; medical doctors; and many more); it seeks to help the student understand health and illness, and provides knowledge and research skills applicable to the health arena; the course guides the student through a journey of health, illness, adjustment and rehabilitation; areas such as health behaviours, beliefs, and coping are all covered.

Расположение

Университет расположен в 20 минутах ходьбы (нескольких автобусных остановках) от станции метро «Uxbridge», откуда можно напрямую добраться до Центрального Лондона. Обратно можно вернуться на регулярном ночном автобусе, который останавливается непосредственно возле кампуса. Сам городок Аксбридж также представляет интерес — здесь можно встретить старинные знания и новые современные торговые и коммерческие центры. В городке есть два крупных торговых центра, The Pavilions и Chimes Centre, с различными магазинами, кафе и кинотеатром на 9 залов.
