Вступительные требования

A Bachelor's degree in a subject closely related to the one selected for graduate work; The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is 3.0 out of a possible 4.0, or a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.2 out of 4.0 in the last two years of full-time studies.; IELTS 6.5. Graduate applicants who do not have an adequate background in either economics or mathematics may be admitted to the Qualifying Year (QY). QY students take three full-year (September-April) Honours economics undergraduate level courses.

Faculty members conduct research in numerous areas of economics, with particularly strong representation in the fields of econometrics, empirical microeconomics including development, and natural resources. The Department counts among its members a holder of a Canada Research Chair, two James McGill Professors, one William Dawson Scholar, an Officer of the Order of Canada (who is also a Bank of Canada Research Fellow), two Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada, and one Endowed Chair.

Здание Экономического факультета расположено на Воробьевых горах на юго-западе Москвы. Корпус окружен лесопарковой зоной и располагается на расстоянии около 8 км от центра столицы. Ближайшая станция метро находится в 10 минутах ходьбы от университета, поездка до центра города на метро займет около 15 минут.
