Modules include: Dialogue; atmospheres; Foley; ADR; designed fx; music, sound recording; advanced sound editing; design and mixing techniques; students work as sound supervisors on most films, creating sound tracks from pre-production through to the mix.

Вступительные требования

Degree in media production or related field; experience of working in the audio industry; extensive experience in another aspect of film and television production with a background in the arts or other media; application materials must include: Short DVD/video that the student has recorded or tracklaid or mixed; or short DVD/video for which the student has created the soundtrack and a short sound montage including speech.

The programme provides intensive education in practical skills underpinned with an understanding of theoretical and aesthetic concepts; there is emphasis on the interaction of picture editing, sound design and music composition; students train in all areas of audio post-production learning the key skills required as dubbing editors, sound designers and dubbing mixers; they collaborate with students from other disciplines on exercises, workshops and productions covering animation, fiction and documentary films; students complete a dissertation in the 2nd year.
