Compulsory modules cover: Archaeological method and theory; research training; plus a period-based optional module in: prehistoric, classical or historical archaeology; plus at least 1 further optional module in archaeology; plus 40 credits of optional modules including: artefact analysis; geographic information systems or other computing techniques; heritage management; bioarchaeology; and ancient or modern languages.
