The course covers all areas of making costume from pattern cutting right through to the finished garment and also includes organisational and managerial skills, budget control and ordering; training provides skills required to take a given design and transform it into a finished garment; also taking on role of costume supervisor of a show and on the Academy’s public productions; in final term, project work is exhibited giving opportunity to discuss with invited group of industry contacts.
