A good Honours degree or overseas equivalent; suitable applied disciplines include rural land management, agriculture, countryside management and environmental science, pure disciplines include geography, sociology and economics; mature applicants with relevant experience of working for government departments, agencies, environmental or aid organisations, or a high level of aptitude and motivation are welcomed.
