The course consists of 5 modules worth a total of 180 credits; the initial module is: Researching children's literature and culture (worth 30 credits) and the final module is the dissertation (worth 60 credits); the 3 other areas of study are selected from the following: issues in children's literature (30 credits); visual narratives: from picture books to graphic novels and beyond (30 credits); the world of faery (30 credits); children in and on film (30 credits).
