Stage 1: Modules in applied clinical sciences; applied research methods and project management; and applied clinical management form the basis of the programme which builds capacity between professions and extend the knowledge and practical skills of health care professionals at the front line of health care delivery; stage 2: a work-based learning component, allowing students to engage with learning in situ rather than in the traditional confines of classroom based learning; stage 3: this stage of the programme facilitates students in the undertaking of an applied practice project, for example, an action research project, a service evaluation or an advanced systematic review.
