The Programme aims to assist practitioners of art in all mediums to develop a thorough knowledge of materials, equipment and working processes through fulfillment of a studio project that is devised at the beginning of the Programme by each student, and which is conducted under tutorial guidance; it also seeks to provide a theoretical basis for understanding the key issues surrounding an artists practice.
