Outside the classroom, students can participate in more than 25 intramural and club sports, as well as 130 organizations, including the award-winning WSOU radio station and The Setonian newspaper. Each fall, students, faculty, staff and alumni alike mark their calendars for Seton Hall Weekend, a three-day campus celebration featuring performances, rides, carnival games, parent activities and sporting events.
Besides, students can travel to NYC, which is only 30 minutes away.
Residency on campus is voluntary and there is no requirement for freshmen or other students to live on campus. There are six traditional style residence halls on campus. The Department also supports and staffs two apartment style residence halls in close proximity to campus.
Housing is not guaranteed. However, Seton Hall will set aside 1,200 beds for new students. If a student lives on campus, they must participate in a University dining plan. The university offers a variety of options to suit student’s lifestyle, including varying numbers of meals.
